Kinesiology

Discover sub-conscious patterns that are holding you back and start releasing stresses linked to them.

Kinesiology Clients

Most of the physical, mental and emotional stresses that we are currently experiencing have been slowly building up over time. Sometimes we only realize that there is a problem, when it has been around for some time and has snow-balled out of control. Alternatively, we may choose to ignore the early signs, in the hope that they will ‘go away’.

You have possibly reached the point where you know you have to take action before it becomes serious, or you have decided that feeling mediocre is not good enough.

Kinesiology Technique

Kinesiology is a remarkable technique that uses muscle monitoring to tap into the body’s sub-conscious / innate intelligence. This helps the practitioner investigating the underlying priority stresses linked to the current issue.  The Kinesiologist then uses a variety of energetic techniques to help reduce these stresses, such as: acupressure, sound and flower essences.

Over time, your body has uniquely stored your stress, to be dealt with at a later stage.
We use your body’s wisdom to unravel this stress through the use of muscle feedback.

What happens during a physical session?

A Kinesiology session may take anything from 1hr to 1hr 30min.  At the start of the session, we take a case history and based on that, we agree on a treatment plan.  We make use of acupressure points during the session, so you will be asked to remove your shoes.  We also test a variety of muscles during the session, so it is best that you wear lose comfortable clothing that will make it easy to move your legs and arms whilst lying on a massage styled table.
During the session we use muscle changes to highlight when there is stress linked to the topic being investigated.  This is based on the principle that stress changes the way a muscle reacts. The kinesiology sessions are interactive; as we talk through the significance of what we are finding.
We also use muscle monitoring to identify the best energetic procedures to use to help restore balance and initiate the healing process.

What happens after a kinesiology session?

As you may expect, this varies depending on the type of issue you have and how long you have had it for. Some people feel changes during the session, some after the session and others may take a number of sessions before they start to experience some noticeable changes. If you have had an issue for a long time, it is likely to take a number of sessions to stimulate changes in your body.
That being said, it is always a good idea to drink plenty of water after the session and over the next couple of days while the body releases previously trapped toxins. It is also recommended that you go a little easier on yourself for a couple of days and hold off on any major changes.
